Life at the Farm
A sound carries from the pasture. The mother cow is calling her calf – it is feeding time. Suopirtti Highland invites you to enjoy a day at the farm with our animals. You can come by yourself or take your friends or family with you. The day is for you and for the animals. There’s plenty to do. And rest assured – you won’t go hungry!

10.00 AM – Arriving at the farm, introductions and safety briefing
10.30 AM – Feeding the “hairy cows”. We will be fetching them hay with an over 60-year-old Valmet tractor. There are only 4 of them left anywhere in the world. We will start with heifers born in 2016. We will be feeding hay to the cows and scratching and brushing them.
11.30 AM – Going to see the bullocks. Giving them treats.
11.45 AM – Enjoying open-fire pancakes with coffee, tea or juice in the garden
12.30 PM – Taking care of the mother cows and spring-born calves at the pasture
1.30 PM – Brushing the Icelandic horses and lead rein riding
2.45 PM – Feedback discussion. Saying bye-bye and welcoming customers again
3.00 PM The day ends
